                     Biography
                     
                     Greg Knollman, PhD is an associate professor within the Department of Special Education
                        and support to the Office of Research and Evaluation within the College of Education.
                        He teaches instructional methods courses in special education and serves as co-investigator
                        of interdisciplinary preparation projects with graduate scholars in special education
                        and related services. He also serves as evaluation support for projects involving
                        the implementation of teacher preparation programming. Prior to his work at Towson,
                        he served in several different roles at local school district, university, and federal
                        levels in areas relevant to teaching, program development and grant management.

                     Research
                     
                     Dr. Knollman's research interests focus on teacher preparation and evaluation with
                        an emphasis on the impact of training projects on the preparation of personnel for
                        positions that offer direct support to individuals with disabilities and their families.
                        His research also focuses on the impact of transition supports on the post-secondary
                        employment and educational outcomes of youth with intellectual disabilities and autism.
