- OCTOBER 29 | Ben and Myrna Cardin Center Officially Opens: At 6 p.m., join elected officials, TU President Mark Ginsberg and several faculty and staff from TU as they officially launch the Ben and Myrna Cardin Center for Civic Engagement and Civil Discourse at the South Campus Pavillion. Both Ben and Myrna Cardin will provide remarks about the center’s opening.
- November 5 |TEDx at TU: Speakers from around TU are participating in TEDxTowsonU: Happiness by Design. Happiness isn’t just a fleeting emotion — it’s something we can thoughtfully create. This theme explores how individuals, communities, and systems can intentionally design environments, habits, and mindsets that foster genuine, lasting joy.
- November 6 | 30th Economic Outlook Forum: Join the Regional Economic Studies Institute for the 30th anniversary of the Economic Outlook Forum. Dr. Daraius Irani, RESI chief economist, will provide the annual economic outlook forecast for our state with a focus on the various regional, national and international events and trends impacting our state’s economy. The forecast will be followed by a panel discussion on increasing Maryland’s business competitiveness.
- November 12 | Recognizing Community Engagement: The 2025 BTU Partnership Awards will recognize up to three mutually beneficial partnerships taking place between Towson University and at least one community partner. Award winners include the Autism Hiring Program, Culturally Responsive Mathematics for Baltimore County Public School Students and Baltimore Community Archeology Lab.
